Stress stinks and I try to get rid of it in any way I can, but (as many of you have probably found), it can be a near hopeless struggle. Sometimes I even say to myself, “It’s okay, I know that I am stressed but I am so busy right now and I don't have even two minutes to relax - I’ll just relax tonight”. That really doesn’t work - everyone can spare a couple of minutes here and there throughout the day. If I don't, by nightfall, I am too stressed to relax and can’t wind down, can’t enjoy my dinner and can’t sleep.
Trying to remain aware of stress throughout the day and banish it from my vicinity is the only way that I arrive (fairly) refreshed to enjoy my evening. Over the weekend, I was playing around with rhymes and wondered if I could come up with one to help remind me to relax and release tension. I came up with this:
Breathe in deeply then let it go,
Remember the positive energy flow!
